Braid Street's next event is one that will create lasting memories, filled with love, light and lots of braids. The 2nd annual Holiday Crown event is back and this time with a few new additions.
First, is the name, Crown; not only the crowns we wear externally signifying royalty, but also the crowns we have internally, based on the confidence and faith in ourselves and with our connection to a greater power.
Next, we will be spreading Love and Light through a braid class. Inviting ALL parents and caregivers who are looking for assistance on maintaining their child or family members' beautiful Afro-textured hair. You'll be able to have your child or family member act as your model, or you can ask for a mannequin head. RSVP using the sign-up sheet below.

Media coverage from R.O.C Media at the last Holiday event in 2019. Since the introduction of COVID-19, we have not been able to provide free braided services for the community.
Revive Our Culture is a brand whose goal is Creating a Culture of Caring, World Wide. They strive to change how we should care for one another. They have a clothing line, a modeling class, and Therapeutic painting events, all designed to encourage, and facilitate stress relief, so that you are ready to care for yourself as well as others. They do all of this for those who are going through hard times, be it good or bad, that gives them the knowledge that someone cares and caring can go a long way.
